Every year so many of us make some kind of New Year’s Resolution and that is good but do we go through with it. Sometimes we start adding more resolutions in our journal depending what situation we are going through at that time, so the big question is what’s your new year’s resolution for 2021?
Can you actually say I am going to make a difference for myself this year coming up? Well that answer to that question should be yes!
Why not, you are your own person and you can achieve by putting all your effort into it. Even if others don’t think you can do it prove them wrong.

Here are some resolution for 2021
First what is Mental Health? Mental health is the level of psychological well-being or an absence of mental illness. It is the state of someone who is “functioning at a satisfactory level of emotional and behavioral adjustment”.
I will commit myself to being physically active each day. Being active will keep my mind and body focus. Studies have shown there is a link between mental and physical health.
I will learn to relax and enjoy life. Commit yourself to carving out some time each day to “shutting down” and doing something for yourself that helps you rest and recharge your mental and emotional batteries. A self care routine is great. You can do a selfcare at home like doing a facial, taking a bubble bath and read or listen to a positive podcast. Also you can just go to a spa to get pampered.
You can diligently speak nicely about yourself and treat yourself with respect. All good things begin from within, and a positive outlook on ourselves is a key to attracting more positivity into our lives. Thinking positive by saying I will strive to become the person I want to be. View life as a journey full of adventures rather than a series of obstacles you have to overcome. Enjoy the ride that life is. Depression is sometimes part of life But you can deal with it and say to your self that you can overcome it and it does not own your life. Exercise mental positivity.
What is procrastination? Procrastination is putting off or delaying, especially something requiring immediate attention
Sometimes you don’t have time to do something and you say you will do it later but later came and you still didn’t do it. You can start by writing down things that you have to do and plan on the day and time to do it. By planning it on your journal or planner it helps because then you know not to do anything else on that time or day. Sometimes by seeing and reading can help your mind to focus and act on it.
Create a budget
What is a budget? A budget is a financial plan for a defined period, often one year. It may also include planned sales volumes and revenues, resource quantities, costs and expenses, assets, liabilities and cash flows.
Sometimes a lot of people don’t like doing the budget or even think that it is so hard. Now and days there are different apps that can help you with your budget like Truebill , Mint , and clarity money You can use a spreadsheet template to help set short- and long-term goals. Budgeting for social gatherings and incidentals (unexpected dinners out, new clothes, Fixing your car, going to the movies) means you won’t have to change old habits too much. Date night is a great time for you and your love one to catch up and remember why you guys are together. Some time we work hard and do overtime then have to do so many things that we don’t make time to spend with each other. You can go out for dinner, out to the park and take a walk.
You can even do a dinner date at home. Yes cook something or get takeout, spread a blanket on the living room floor like you are having a picnic and watch a great movie.
Now if you are single you can also enjoy doing this on your selfcare days. Who said you can’t go to dinner by yourself or have a picnic by yourself. On these days it’s for you to enjoy life and take a breather of everything around you.
Have you been wanting to travel for a vacation or even to go see family members and long time friends? This is a great opportunity while learning how to budget you can set aside some money to go travel. Sometime going for a vacation even for the weekend will change your mindset, and your mental health. Sometimes a little time away from the town is good. You’ll come back refreshed and toting meaningful memories you won’t soon forget.
Staying Off Social Media
Being always in social media is also a bad habit and it can become addicting that sometimes you don’t even know what’s going on around you. Some don’t understand that being on social media you are putting your family and other stuff to the side.
So plan to take a step back this upcoming year, whether spending a day (or more) social media-free or simply reducing the number of times you check your apps in any one day so like that you can enjoy more of life and your family.
Reflect on your current dreams and aspirations. Now ask yourself if they’re truly as big as they can be. Create your next, positive life phase by training yourself to think beyond what you imagine you can achieve. Cast doubt aside, concentrate only on what you love and that which makes you most fulfilled, and open yourself up to new possibilities in the coming year. Never say that you can’t do it if you have not tried. Having a goal and making it is called victory.
Forget The Past
Is the past hunting you and following you everywhere you go? Let me tell you that the past is just that, your past. Letting go of the past is a great thing because by leaving it in the past you continue to your present and your future. You can’t live in the past and continue moving forward. Train yourself again to think beyond what you imagine you can achieve. You can make the break through and make your life enjoyable.
Pick Up A Hobby
Did you know that having a hobby is good for you? Hobbies can lower your stress levels, boost your brain power, improve your ability to focus, and more. Therefore, in 2021, start a new hobby.
Being More Grateful
There are studies that show that gratitude can make you 25% happier. Think about that for a second: you can be 25% happier simply by taking the time to count your blessings and think of all the good things in you life!
Being grateful will also help you to overcome adversity, improve the quality of your sleep, and allow you to get along better with others. For next year, resolve to be more grateful.
Enjoy The Simple Things
Living life to the fullest doesn’t just mean setting big goals like going ziplining or learning to dive out of a plane. It also includes learning to enjoy the little things. That is, learning to appreciate life’s simple pleasures, such as being with family, cook outs or even playing with the dogs and if you want to take a weekend off there are places to go see.
